It's all different in DC:
Ben brags about being tough on corruption in
Kentucky as Attorney General:
"I was persona non grata in my own party...
but I thought they broke the law."
But that was in the minor leagues...Now Ben plays in the majors!
Rangel, tax cheat extraordinaire, has been before the Ethics Committee for over TWO YEARS!
Ben, sitting on $10,000 of "Charlie Cash", has apparently been unable to decide if Rangel violated House Rules.
Congressmen, in droves, are giving back campaign contributions
from Rangel...to the tune of $650,000.
But not our Ben!
Our boy knows a good deal when he sees it!
Take the money and run!
"It's a case where greed trumps common sense and everybody knows
that returning the money is the ethical thing to do."

"answering" the question,
"Why don't you give
Rangel's money back?"
Ben gives a meandering
non-answer answer,
but the short version is:
"I don't have to."
(Besides, it's election season,
and TV ads are expensive...)
Tax Law We Can Believe in:
HR 735:
The Rangel Rule Act of 2009: Under the proposed law,
any taxpayer who wrote
“Rangel Rule” on their return
when paying back taxes would be
immune from penalties and interest.
Works for me!
