Ben's "Jobs Plan" Gone Awry...
Chandler's Rhetoric: "Made in America"
Reality: American jobs moved to China, left no forwarding address.
Sssh...Jobs tip-toeing out the door......
This closure is in Virginia; the Lexington plant has already closed.
The "green" CFL bulbs Chandler will allow us to use are made in China.
They are too expensive to manufacture here, due in part to environmental regulations on the workplace.

that can't be shipped overseas...
(Ben might want to re-think his comment
about not making apologies.)
Also, watch the video below about Ben
regulating American business out of America.
How many Chandlers does it take to screw in a light bulb? One. But he has to go to China to do it.
There will be more to come on this subject...there's quite a money-trail involved.
Stay Tuned!
Sure-fire 2-step jobs plan... 1. LEGALIZE light bulbs
2. PRIVATIZE Ben Chandler

Ben Stumped...
"How are you going to see 'Made in America' with Cap and Trade?"

Puzzled one week, brilliant the next!
On August 2, Chandler was completely baffled when asked how to create manufacturing jobs with his energy tax scheme in place.
The youtube shows his answer...
Silence, then..."There are policies being put in place."
One week later, Ben has the answer!
Alternative energies will provide our people jobs...
Jobs that can't be moved overseas!!!!
(Have you ever tried to move a coal mine overseas?) And the best news yet...the planet will live through it!
YES...Chandler has hit on the solution to everything:
Alternative Energy, in this case from algae. Algae will provide many many jobs.
Algae is apparently unhappy overseas, so our clean sustainable
earth-loving jobs will stay here in the good old USA!!!

Does this mean the 2600 people who stood in line to apply for
100 temporary jobs in Lexington last March
will finally be seeing a paycheck?
Coal jobs, deemed unfriendly to Earth,
are not the wave of the future in Ben's plans!
In 2006, Ben looked forward to emulating Brazil's
green initiatives. Click here to listen: "If Brazil can do it, the USA can do it, you would think..."
The new "IN" career:
"Today I feel proud of being a garbage sorter." Sorting Garbage - Green and Dignified Work 800,000 people work sorting through garbage to salvage
recyclable materials in Brazil.
"Garbage sorting" started as a necessity when factory jobs
became scarce (sound familiar?),
but "the importance of the work" now gives pride.
This is the "green way forward"...
Kentucky already boasts new garbage sorting jobs. 1,000 people were expected to line up for 350 jobs
in early August...you guessed it...
garbage sorting jobs!
Ben casually shrugs off whatever damage his policies
would do if his climate "experts" prove to be wrong.
"I hope they are wrong...it would make life easier for all of us."
"The coal's not going anyplace."
