There is no way to please both demographics at once.

Ben's money comes mostly from left-leaning sources
...trial lawyers, unions, liberal politicians, etc.

However, if Ben campaigns as a liberal, he loses.
His district is conservative!

Cap and Trade is a basket of goodies for
